Keep watch for the local wildlife that frequents the riverbanks due to the abundance of salmon inhabiting the waters. You may see eagles, bears and wolves roaming the shores, set against a backdrop of towering mountains, hanging glaciers and spruce forests. You will also pass the village of Klukwan, home to the Tlingit for centuries and the last of five Chilkat villages that once existed in the area.
