Get Up Close to Marine Life in their Natural Habitat Embark on a scenic cruise by high-speed expedition vessel in search of Alaska’s diverse wildlife. Board your boat and after a short safety briefing, set sail amid a majestic backdrop of snowcapped peaks and glaciers. The region is home to a variety of marine species, including whales, sea lions, porpoises, seals, bald eagles and other species of wildlife. Keep watch for these and more as your expert naturalist guide describes their natural habitat during an informative narrative. If you are lucky, you may spot whales frolicking in the water; perhaps they will treat you to a playful fluke slap against the surface or an impressive display of breaching. Keep your camera at the ready for an opportunity to capture memorable photos. After your cruise, you will return to the pier and your awaiting ship.
