The ice field covers 1,500 square miles and is home to more than 40 large and 100 smaller glaciers. Meet your helicopter pilot and guide, and receive your boots and mountaineering equipment as well as a short safety briefing. Then, take off, soaring over the Tongass National Forest and dramatic mountain ranges and glaciers.
