Juneau, Alaska, United States

Five-Glacier Flightseeing

Bird’s-Eye Views of Tongass National Forest and Juneau Icefield Soar high above the rugged Alaskan wilderness during a scenic flightseeing excursion over five different glaciers. Board your seaplane and settle in to your window seat. Gently take to the air from the historic downtown waterfront, heading into the sky above Juneau. Revel in your bird’s-eye view of the verdant Tongass National Forest en route to the immense Juneau Icefield—1,500 square miles of jagged peaks and seemingly endless ice sheets and snow. Glide over the deep crevasses and crystal blue meltwater pools of Norris, Hole-in-the-Wall, and East and West Twin Glaciers. Fly over the famous Taku Glacier as you listen to an audio presentation about the glaciers on your headset as you fly. At the conclusion of your flight, return to Juneau for a soft landing along the waterfront before returning to your ship. Please note: a liability waiver must be signed to participate in this tour.
