Step Out Onto Two Juneau Icefield Glaciers Discover the stunning beauty of the Alaskan wilderness during a helicopter ride to two Juneau Icefield glaciers. This vast ice field covers 1,500 square miles and is home to more than 40 large and 100 smaller glaciers. Head to the airfield, where you will meet your experienced pilot and guide before receiving a short safety briefing, boarding your helicopter and taking off. Your pilot will choose two different glaciers upon which to land. As you fly to your destinations, enjoy sweeping views of steep alpine ridges, verdant rainforests and seemingly endless glaciers. After touchdown, appreciate these ancient landscapes up close as your pilot guides you on a short walk over the ice- and snow-covered terrain. After time at your second destination, board your helicopter for your return flight to your awaiting ship. Please note: a liability waiver must be signed to participate in this tour.
