Art & Architecture of Mallorca

Gaudí, Soto and Miró Step into Palma’s artistic and architectural heart during a journey through some of its iconic landmarks. Drive by motor coach toward La Seu Cathedral, a soaring Gothic cathedral overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Step inside to view its intricate interior, modernized by Antoni Gaudí during the early 20th century, then continue on foot to Palau March. Designed by Luis Gutiérrez Soto, it is home to an extensive art collection. After time to explore, head to a local restaurant for lunch before setting out to discover Es Baluard Museum, Palma’s leading contemporary art museum. Take a guided stroll through La Lonja, once a merchant exchange hall and a hub for maritime trade. Conclude with a drive to Fundació Miró Mallorca to gain insight into the life, work and legacy of Joan Miró, who lived and worked on the island for the last 30 years of his life. After, return to your ship. * Demanding - Physically challenging activities, including extensive walks, hiking, riding, water sports, and high altitude activities.
