“End of the World” Eco-Farm

Agroecology and Delicious Local Dishes Indulge in a taste of Patagonia during an excursion to the southernmost agroecology farm in the world. Take a panoramic drive through Tierra del Fuego, the “Land of Fire.” Admire the beauty of your surroundings while traveling through the valleys of the Andes mountains, passing Fuegian forests and peat bogs. Following a stop for a cup of coffee in Haruwen, continue to Puerto Almanza, a picturesque fishing village on the northern shores of the Beagle Channel. Then, visit Chacra Ruca Kellen—located approximately 60 miles from Ushuaia between the hillside and channel coastline—well-known for its sustainable farming practices. Tour the farm and gain insight into the philosophy and approach of agroecology. After, you may choose to partake in seasonal activities before taking a seat to savor a buffet of delicious local dishes, accompanied by a glass of wine or a nonalcoholic drink. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
