Immerse Yourself in Nature on a Forest Trail Discover the flora and fauna of the Fuegian mountains on a 4x4 drive and hike through the forest. Transfer to the Carbajal Valley, where your off-road safari begins. Formed more than 20,000 years ago, the Carbajal Valley is around 12 miles long and runs west to east. Its receding ice walls have become a breeding ground for new forest growth. Enjoy an exhilarating forest ride through peat bogs and along off-road trails as you splash through streams. Return to the mountain lodge and join your guide for a short hike. Learn about the local plants that are native to the region, and follow in the footsteps of ancient woodcutters who have nurtured the land for centuries. Keep your eyes peeled for woodland wildlife such as foxes, beavers and birds.
