Enjoy a Leisurely Paddle Through Pristine Turquoise Waters Paddle through the waters of Chilkoot Lake and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this pristine setting. Journey to Haines by catamaran and enjoy a narrated ride as your naturalist points out the local wildlife. Upon arrival, board a motor coach for a panoramic drive to the Chilkoot River Valley, one of Alaska’s renowned wilderness spots, to enjoy incredible wildlife viewing; brown bears, eagles, mountain goats and spawning salmon are all common sights. At Chilkoot Lake, you will don your life jacket, receive a safety briefing and instructions before climbing into your Voyageur canoe. Paddle with ease in your motor-assisted vessel, allowing you the opportunity to take photographs of your stunning surroundings, featuring waterfalls, spawning salmon streams and mountain vistas.
