Nine Holes at the Valley of the Eagles Golf Club

Play a Round of Golf at One of the World’s Most Scenic Links Courses Enjoy a leisurely round of golf at the Valley of the Eagles Golf Club, located on the banks of the Chilkat River. This stunning links course, designed by Nicklaus Design, is renowned for its majestic scenery and welcomes golfers of all levels. Take a catamaran from Skagway to Haines, then drive past Fort Seward. Arrive at the golf club, where you will collect your gear: clubs, pull carts, golf balls and overboots, if required (due to wet weather). You may then set off to enjoy a leisurely nine-hole round with ample opportunity to stop and admire the scenery and wildlife during your game. The course has been designed to fully integrate with its surroundings, which include salmon streams, wetlands and vegetation that is home to bald eagles, moose, waterfowl, mink and otters. Viewing stations around the course are equipped with binoculars to maximize your opportunity to appreciate this stunning course. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
