Scenic Yukon by Road & Rail

Travel the Famous White Pass Summit Delight in stunning mountain scenery as you journey across the White Pass summit and into the Yukon. Enjoy a vintage train ride among breathtaking vistas as you relive the adventures of gold seekers on this fascinating historic tour. Climb to 3,290 feet as your guide shares legendary stories of the Klondike gold rush. The 1898 construction of the narrow-gauge railroad was considered an impossible task because of harsh climate and challenging geography. However, some nine months after work began, the first train made its journey to White Pass. At Fraser, British Columbia, board your motor coach to Tutshi River Canyon, where you can walk across the pedestrian cable-suspension bridge stretching over the Tutshi River and enjoy a delicious bowl of bison chili before returning to your ship. Please note: due to border regulations, guests must carry a passport and if required, a valid visa for entry into Canada. A passport and/or Canadian visa is required. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
