Highlights of the Split Riviera

Visit Trogir and Tour the Town of Split Step into the past during this excursion to two cities that grace the lovely Split Riviera. Join your guide for a drive to the charming coastal town of Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site perched on an island. Trogir is linked to the mainland by a bridge and densely packed with spectacular stone houses, palaces, churches and monasteries. Stroll its narrow lanes and stop at the spectacular 13th-century Cathedral of St. Lawrence. For a taste of rural Croatia, stop at the Pantan Old Mill for refreshments and local products such as smoked ham, cheese and olives. In Split, explore a city center built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. Your walking tour passes pre-Romanesque churches and Gothic chapels. See the well-preserved cellars of the palace and marvel at the Cathedral of St. Domnius, the patron saint of Split. Afterward, return to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
