Best of Palma
Visions of Mallorca’s Capital View one of Europe’s only circular castles and visit one of Spain’s most stunning cathedrals. You will also have time to shop and relax on Palma’s popular shopping promenade. For a panoramic view of Palma, you and your guide will ascend high above Palma to the hilltop Bellver Castle, a 14th-century circular royal bastion built to serve as both a palace and a fortress. In Palma, take a short guided walk around the Old Town, where you can sip a hot chocolate and try an ensaïmada, a sweet Mallorcan brioche. After time to shop, walk to La Seu Cathedral. This spectacular and imposing Gothic cathedral, the second largest in Spain, is more than 750 years old. Its graceful flying buttresses are reminiscent of Paris’s Notre Dame Cathedral. Visit the breathtaking interior with its magnificent stained glass windows. After time to explore, you will return to your ship.
