Caves of Drach & Mallorcan Pearls

In Porto Cristo, a seaside community that retains its fishing village flavor, descend into the Caves of Drach. Their massive stalactites and stalagmites are beautifully illuminated to create a wondrous subterranean atmosphere. Within the chambers, Lake Martel shimmers in the lamplight; it is believed to be one of the largest underground lakes in the world. Explore the caves with your guide, then settle into the amphitheater facing the lake to enjoy a short concert of classical music featuring compositions by Caballero and Chopin. There will also be time to explore Porto Cristo on your own. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines.
