You will meet your guide at the pier and take a short, guided walk through Nanortalik. Upon arrival at your host’s home, enjoy a warm greeting and a brief tour of the house. Learn about the local culture, their traditional clothing and fabric, and gain insight into village life. Cap your visit by sharing a kaffemik , a Greenlandic tradition used to celebrate special events or milestones, such as birthdays or births. Enjoy this cultural exchange while tasting homemade Greenlandic cake and pastries. Afterward, bid farewell to your new friend, then follow your guide for the walk back to your awaiting ship. * Easy - Walking portions are generally over easy surfaces with few steps or inclines.
