Capture Island Beauty with a Master Photographer Explore Barbados with leading Barbadian producer/director and award-winning photographer Ronnie Carrington. Ronnie has recorded many aspects of Barbadian life, landscape and folk culture and has held three photographic exhibitions, including one in Toronto. He has also been recognized with a “Best Tour of the Year” award. Meet him at our berth and accompany him to locales he has selected for their pictorial and historic qualities. Cross the island to the spectacular Scotland District, an area of undulating hills overlooking the scenic east coast. En route, pass acres of waving sugarcane and quaint rural villages. Capture the sights of Bathsheba, where Atlantic breakers pound relentlessly against giant coral boulders and create whirlpools of foaming surf. Conclude your time together over refreshments at a nearby seaside bar before returning to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
