Deep Sea Fishing
Bridgetown, Barbados

Deep Sea Fishing

Cast Your Line on Barbadian Waters Venture onto the deep blue waters of the Caribbean Sea in search of the catch of the day. Due to the year-round tropical climate and warm waters of the Caribbean Sea, Barbados is a prime location for those seeking to nab a fresh catch. Set out on a short drive through Bridgetown, where you will pass by landmarks including the UNESCO-designated Parliament Buildings. Then, meet your captain and his crew and board your deep sea fishing boat, ready to set sail. The lines will be readied for you to try your hand at catching some of the region’s most sought-after fish, including mahi-mahi, blue marlin and yellowfin tuna. Fish caught during your excursion will be prepared on board and served in Barbadian fish cutters—traditional sandwiches made with Bajan salt bread and fresh fish. Enjoy this local delicacy as you sail back to land, taking in the sights along the way. Please note: your odds of catching a fish cannot be guaranteed. Fishing gear will be provided. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
