Ha Long Bay by Seaplane

Island UNESCO World Heritage Site from Above Marvel at the sight of hundreds of towering islands that emerge from the waters of Ha Long Bay. Legend has it that the Jade Emperor sent dragons from heaven into the sea to protect Vietnam from invaders, and each karst jutting from the ocean represents the thousands of pearls that cascaded from the dragons’ mouths. You will witness this stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site from a Cessna Grand Caravan. Enjoy a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the lush valleys, bays and hidden villages that are not visible by boat. Your seaplane will fly low over the forested area, offering amazing vistas of Ha Long Bay. Formed over a period of 500 million years, these islands are topped with thick jungle vegetation—some soaring more than 300 feet from the ocean. Several of the islands are hollow, with breathtaking cave systems typical of this karst landscape. Please note: maximum weight restriction is 240 lb.
