Vinh Tu Garden House
Learn About Vietnam and Dine in a Serene Garden Setting Enjoy the serenity and architectural heritage of the Vinh Tu Garden House during a delicious lunch. A former mansion, the house is a detailed reconstruction of a 19th-century Hue residence. Located along the Perfume River, this charming house—complete with high foundations and low, dipping roofs—is surrounded by scenic gardens with lotus ponds and pavilions. Its owners, Ton Nu Cam Tu and Pham Ba Vinh, designed the house, then traveled across Vietnam to collect the many antiques and artifacts that adorn the interior. They will show these items and tell stories about Vietnam and the history of the Nguyen Dynasty, the country’s last ruling family. Your meal will be served in either the house or the gardens, depending on the weather. Afterward, you will return to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines.
