Sihanoukville, Cambodia

Ream National Park & Pepper Farm

Scenic Boat Ride and Famous Cambodian Export Experience rural Cambodia during a visit to a pepper farm and a boat ride among the mangroves of Ream National Park. Located about eight miles east of Sihanoukville, the site is officially named Preah Sihanouk National Park, but has become known as “Ream” because it is located in the Ream commune. Ream’s expansive 104 acres boast a range of indigenous flora including mangroves, evergreen forests, sea grass, rivers and coral reefs. Take a scenic drive into the country, where you will first stop at a local pepper and tropical fruit farm. One of Cambodia’s most prized exports, pepper has been cultivated in the Kampot region since the 13th century. Take a guided tour and learn more about this essential spice. Afterward, continue on to Ream, where you will enjoy a relaxing boat ride through the jungle and mangroves before returning to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
