Kachemak Bay by Kayak

Traverse Peaceful Waters and Keep Watch for Local Wildlife Paddle around idyllic Kachemak Bay in a kayak and experience Alaska’s wild coastal environment. After putting on your warm clothes and a rain jacket, board your vessel and venture across Kachemak Bay to a remote location that can only be approached by water. Upon arrival, you will meet your guide who will give you a safety briefing while you don your lifejacket and get fitted for your kayak. They will also instruct you on best paddling practices, so whether you are an experienced kayaker or novice you can feel comfortable navigating these waters. Depart from the beach to explore the picturesque coastline. Keep an eye out for a glimpse of sea otters and investigate the tide pools and search for the invertebrates that call this area home. As you glide along, relax amidst the remote beauty of Kachemak Bay, before returning by vessel to your awaiting ship. * Demanding - Physically challenging activities, including extensive walks, hiking, riding, water sports, and high altitude activities.
