Enchanting Film Sets and the World of Special Effects Enjoy the Wētā Workshop experience to unveil the secrets of movie special effects and ascend the Sky Tower. Take a short drive to SkyCity precinct, Auckland’s premier entertainment district. Upon arrival, you will begin the ascent to the top of Sky Tower, where you will enjoy magnificent views from its observation deck on the 51st floor. Back on the ground, head to the Wētā Workshop Unleashed experience, where you will explore interactive make-believe film sets that unveil three fantasy worlds, featuring animatronics and prosthetics created on a horror set, stunning light displays, and a galactic robot from a sci-fi set.
