Great Barrier Reef by Helicopter

See a Natural Wonder of the World From Above Take to the sky to view Earth’s largest living structure during a helicopter ride over the Great Barrier Reef. Composed of more than 3,000 individual reefs and 900 islands, the Great Barrier Reef stretches more than 1,400 miles and can even be seen from outer space. Head to the airfield, where you will meet your pilot and receive a short safety briefing before climbing on board your helicopter and taking a window seat. Once airborne, you will head out to this UNESCO World Heritage Site and swoop over the colorful corals of Arlington Reef. Spot landmarks such as Green Island and take in bird’s-eye views of Michaelmas Reef and Vlasoff Cay. Marvel at the reef’s sheer size and beauty, and keep watch for the dolphins and sea turtles that live in the surrounding waters. After your panoramic 30-minute ride, you will return to the airfield and transfer to your ship. * Easy - Walking portions are generally over easy surfaces with few steps or inclines. Total time walking or standing is normally not longer than 1.5 hours.
