A Spectacular View of the Australian Outback from the Air Take to the skies and embark on an aerial flightseeing excursion over Darwin’s impressive sights. Drive to the heliport, where you will meet your experienced pilot and receive a safety briefing. Then, climb on board your aircraft, don your headset and prepare to be astounded. Your helicopter will begin its ascent, your seat guaranteeing you unparalleled views over the city of Darwin, as you begin your journey to Litchfield National Park. Known for its stunning landscapes, waterfalls and natural pools, the park is one of Australia’s most scenic destinations. The park is also home to magnetic termite mounds—they are aligned to the Earth’s magnetic fields, resembling tombstones. After your 60-minute flight, you will return to the heliport and board your motor coach for the return drive to your ship. Please note: maximum weight is 286 lbs. * Easy - Walking portions are generally over easy surfaces with few steps or inclines. Total time walking or standing is normally not longer than 1.5 hours.
