Take a seat next to your guide and driver in a utility task vehicle before setting out off the beaten path to view some of Alaska’s stunning nature trails. Along the route to Mineral Creek Canyon, you will stop for photo opportunities; see a picturesque creek, take a short stroll from your UTV to view a spectacular waterfall and immerse yourself in the beautiful nature and tranquility of your surroundings. The Mineral Creek Canyon is home to the W.L. Smith Stamp Mill and remains as a tribute to the early gold miners of Valdez. During your ride, you can also keep watch for local wildlife; bears and mountain goats are commonly sighted. After your exhilarating tour, return to your awaiting ship.
