Visit the World’s Most Northerly Distillery Gain insight into the production of Highland Park whisky and sample some of their award-winning range. Meet your guide at the pier, who will accompany you as you transfer to Hobbister Moor, a nature reserve with a diverse and dynamic ecosystem. Here, you will learn about traditional peat-cutting methods and how peat is used in barley-smoking to produce complex and varied flavors, before continuing to the Highland Park Distillery for a more in-depth look at the rest of the whisky-making process. Sip on a dram of distillery-exclusive single malt whisky as you enjoy a short film about the distillery’s origins, followed by a guided tour of the facility where you will have the opportunity to try whisky directly from the cask. Cap your day with a tasting session where you will sample a selection of Highland Park’s finest whiskies, before making the journey back to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines.
