Copolia Trail Hike
Forest Trail and Scenic Views of the Seychelles Explore diverse landscapes and protected native species in Mahé’s mountainous interior. Travel to the northern side of the island to Morne Seychellois National Park, where you will meet your ranger guide and receive a short safety briefing. Then, set off on the Copolia Trail, a rugged and winding path through the lush tropical forest lined with ferns. Your route will ascend the side of a ravine, where large blocks of granite loom on either side of the steep trail. Along the way, you will pass flowering white trumpet trees, carnivorous pitcher plants and a host of other endemic flora and fauna, including one of the world’s smallest frogs. Climb a metal ladder to the viewpoint and admire the sweeping panorama of Mahé’s western coast and nearby mountain peaks. Afterward, retrace your steps to the trailhead before returning to your awaiting ship. * Demanding - Physically challenging activities, including extensive walks, hiking, riding, water sports, and high altitude activities.
