Saint-Anne Marine National Park
Glass-Bottom Boat Ride and Island Exploration Discover the forests, beaches, underwater wonders and wildlife sanctuaries of Saint-Anne Marine National Park. Travel to the pier, where you will board a glass-bottom boat and set out for the park, a multi-island protected marine area. Cruise to uninhabited Hodoul Island, stopping offshore to see nesting colonies of small, white herons called cattle egrets. Then, journey to the eco-reserve on Moyenne Island for a guided hike through the forest en route to a giant land tortoise nursery. After, spend free time on the beach, followed by a delicious lunch of Creole fare. Return to your boat and sail to Long Island, where you will drop anchor and have an opportunity to swim or snorkel among its coral gardens. Keep watch for colorful fish, bottlenose dolphins, eels and extensive seagrass meadows where green turtles feed. After, return to your boat and cruise back to shore and your ship. Please note: wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines.
