In Search of Island Wildlife Explore the wetlands and scrub jungles of Sri Lanka while on safari in search of intriguing wildlife. Journey to Yala National Park and witness majestic animals such as wild buffalo, crocodiles and more. Watch for sightings of elephants as they silently roam and see various bird species. Please note: sites on this program are not accessible and cannot accommodate guests who rely on a walker, wheelchair or motorized scooter/wheelchair. Day 1 - Yala, Sri Lanka After lunch, disembark your ship in Colombo and embark on a scenic drive south toward Yala. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the remainder of the day relaxing. This evening, join your fellow guests for dinner. Retire early to bed in preparation for your early start tomorrow. (D) Day 2 - Yala, Sri Lanka Begin your day with an early-morning safari through Yala National Park in search of sloth bears—and, if you are lucky, a leopard or two—as you journey through the jungle. Have your camera ready to capture wildlife sightings, including a variety of birds. Return to your hotel and enjoy breakfast before checking out and beginning your journey to Galle, a historic port city built by the Dutc
