Lagoon Cruise on a Glass-Bottomed Boat

A Colorful Canvas of Reef Fish and Coral Set out into South Pacific waters in a glass-bottomed boat to marvel at a colorful kaleidoscope of marine species. Rarotonga is surrounded by lagoons—vast enclosed ecosystems with their own life cycles and species, such as brain coral and bluefin trevally. Tender ashore and embark a craft specially designed to reveal the wonders of Muri Lagoon. Arrive at a protected marine reserve to snorkel and feed the fish before heading to a small islet, or motu . Enjoy a swim, stroll around the island or simply relax and soak up the sun’s rays while your crew prepares a sumptuous seafood barbecue. As you savor your delicious meal, learn more about the island and its resources and enjoy an entertaining demonstration of coconut-husking and tree-climbing. After your cultural experience, enjoy a scenic ride back to the pier to rejoin your ship. * Easy - Walking portions are generally over easy surfaces with few steps or inclines. Total time walking or standing is normally not longer than 1.5 hours.
