Board your open-air safari truck and drive through the lush orchards of Elmer’s Farm into Kahuna Nui Valley. At a private oasis nestled deep into the rainforest, savor a tasting of the award-winning Kaloa rum and a delicious mai tai cocktail. Afterward, step outside and meet some of the plantation’s friendly residents; the estate is home to wild pigs, goats and sheep. As you explore, your local guide will explain more about the island’s agricultural history and Hawaii’s main staple, taro. Your final tasting will be a refreshing cocktail made using ingredients sourced entirely from the plantation.
