Survival Skills and Local Delicacies Experience the traditions of Malaysia’s Orang Asli people and learn about their enduring connection to the jungle. Drive by motor coach to Orang Asli Museum Gombak, where exhibits present the traditions and daily life of Malaysia’s Orang Asli communities. After time to explore the displays, continue into the rainforest, where you will set out on a guided walk through dense vegetation. Along the way, your guide will point out medicinal plants, gather natural materials and demonstrate survival techniques that have been passed down through generations, including fire-making using only forest resources. Meet members of the local community and try your hand at creating traditional crafts. You will also see a blowpipe demonstration and a traditional nose flute performance.
