Emerald Lake Cruise, Petrohué Falls & Puerto Varas

Waterfalls and Mountains of Chile’s Lake District Journey through Chile’s glimmering Lake District and experience nature at its most spectacular. Hundreds of picturesque lakes and numerous active volcanoes dominate this area. In Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, you will embark your boat for a 45-minute cruise on All Saints Lake (Lago Todos los Santos), also known as the Emerald Lake for its vivid blue-green color. Theodore Roosevelt called it the most beautiful lake in the world. At Petrohué Rapids, you will see a gleaming succession of blue rapids against a backdrop of mountains, including the nearby Osorno volcano. Here, you will stop to walk the pathways and trails, taking in the stunning views of its lush landscapes and natural wilderness. Reboard your coach and drive to Puerto Varas, famous for its German traditions, where a delicious local lunch will be served. Afterward, take your time to discover the city’s quaint handicraft market and marvel at the stunning panorama of Lake Llanquihue. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
